Responsibilities
Information Management Support & Data Systems:
- Support the Lead IMO in maintaining and updating Protection Sector 4W/5W reporting systems (e.g. ActivityInfo), including data entry, cleaning, validation, and follow up with partners.
- Assist in ensuring harmonised reporting across Protection Sector partners and thematic areas (GBV, CP, HLP, EO) in line with agreed indicators and tools.
-Support consolidation of subnational data into national level datasets.

Protection Analysis & Analytical Inputs:
- Support the preparation of protection analysis outputs through basic data analysis, trend tracking, and geographic breakdowns.
- Provide analytical inputs to protection monitoring summaries, risk snapshots, and briefing notes under the direction of the Lead IMO.
- Assist with data preparation for HNO, HRP, intersector analysis, returns analysis, and
advocacy products.

Information Products & Reporting:
- Draft and update dashboards, tables, maps, and factsheets based on validated data and agreed templates.
- Support the development of periodic Protection Sector updates and reporting to intersector coordination mechanisms and donors.
- Ensure timely submission of IM inputs as requested by Lead IMO.

Partner and Thematic Area Support:
- Provide day to day technical support to Protection Sector partners and thematic area focal points on reporting requirements and IM tools.
- Assist in onboarding new partners to reporting platforms and addressing routine IM issues.
- Support capacity strengthening activities (trainings, guidance notes) led by the Lead IMO.

Responsible Data Management & Accountability:

- Apply protection sensitive practices in handling data, including confidentiality and appropriate access controls.
- Support data disaggregation and analysis (age, gender, disability where feasible) to inform
inclusive programming and accountability to affected populations.
- Flag data quality or protection risks related to information management to the Lead IMO.

Working Relationships:
- The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Protection Sector Lead Information Management Officer and collaborates closely with:
- Protection Sector coordination team
- IM focal points of protection thematic areas (GBV, CP, HLP, EO)
- National and subnational Protection Sector partners
-Intersector IM colleagues, as relevant (through the Lead IMO)

Qualifications
Education:
- University degree in information management, social sciences, statistics, GIS, humanitarian studies, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in information management or data support, preferably in humanitarian or protection related contexts.
- Prior experience supporting coordination mechanisms or interagency reporting is an asset.

Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data cleaning techniques).
- Good working knowledge of databases; experience with Activity Info, Microsoft Power BI dashboards, or GIS/mapping is desirable.
- Ability to organize, clean, validate, and aggregate data from multiple sources, applying systematic quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clear presentation of results.
- Understanding of humanitarian Information Management principles is desirable.

Languages:
- Arabic(fluent)
- English – Good
