Responsibilities
•Develop and implement monthly and quarterly workplans for child protection activities
•Assist the Protection and Education Officers to ensure effective internal integration and harmonized workplans across activities
•Mentoring and coaching of PSS counsellors / teachers in terms of child protection technical competencies, focusing on child protection identification and awareness, in accordance with relevant technical standards
•Regularly update and document beneficiary data, attendance sheets, activity records, and monitoring data in accordance with MEAL guidelines
•Coordinate with relevant focal people and participate in regular team meetings, coordination meetings and monitoring activities
•Deliver awareness raising sessions, facilitate training and mentoring for teachers as needed
•Ensure activities are inclusive, gender-sensitive, and accessible to children with disabilities
•Collaborate with school principals, teachers, parents and partner organizations to strengthen participation in child protection and education activities
•Ensure that case management team maintains an up-to-date service mapping for their geographical area
•Support case workers in case planning, involving families as appropriate, particularly in high risk/ complex cases
•Support Case Workers to conduct case conferences (as necessary) with relevant service providers
•Promote safeguarding, PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse), and Do-No-Harm principles in all activities, ensuring adherence to confidentiality


Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field
•Minimum 2 years of experience in child protection activities, preferably with an (I)NGO
•Strong coordination and communication abilities
•High ethical standards and confidentiality
•Working level of English (writing and speaking)
•Strong understanding of safeguarding principles, including PSEA, and commitment to child protection standards
