Responsibilities
• Capture high-quality usable images of project activities, for example: (Classroom sessions, Teacher training, Infrastructure projects, Community engagement, and Student interactions)
• Photograph formal events such as launches, ceremonies, and field visits by stakeholders and the project team.
• Ensure a variety of shots (wide, medium, close-up) to provide a comprehensive visual narrative.
• Obtain written consent using FCA’s consent form for any close-up shots of individual beneficiaries.
• Film short videos (3–5 minutes) highlighting key aspects of the project, including subtitles, necessary graphics, FCA, and donor logos.
• Producing success stories that highlight the impact of the project on individual beneficiaries or communities.
• Conduct brief interviews with beneficiaries, staff, and stakeholders.
• Produce final versions of videos suitable for various platforms (e.g., social media, presentations, websites).
• Conduct regular visits to project activities.
• Collaborate closely with FCA’s project team to understand key messages and objectives.
• Provide regular updates on progress.
• Adhere to FCA’s Code of Conduct and Child Safeguarding Policy.
• Ensure all photos and videos meet FCA’s quality standards and are satisfactory.


Qualifications
Experience and technical competencies: (include years of experience)
• 5+ years of experience in professional photography, ideally in humanitarian settings.
• Strong storytelling and composition skills.
• Good skills in video editing tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of humanitarian principles.
• Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Availability of references from previous entities or organizations
Education: (include certificates, licenses etc.)
• · University or technical institute degree in Photography, Fine Arts, Media Studies, Communications, or any related discipline, or a demonstrable portfolio with years of relevant professional or volunteer photography experience.
• Training courses in fields relevant to humanitarian response and aid.
Languages: (indicate fluency level)
• Fluent in Arabic- written and spoken is essential.
• Good written English skills.


Salary and Benefits
As per FCA salary scale
Contract will be Service contract for 3 months renewable according to the budget availability and performance.
