Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Procurement Officer and provide backup support when needed in preparing procurement documents and sourcing activities
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations
- Maintain updated tracking records for all submitted Purchase Requests (PRs)
- Conduct market research to identify supplier availability and local sourcing opportunities
- Develop and maintain supplier rosters and evaluation mechanisms
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure effective communication between program, finance, logistics teams, and suppliers
- Prepare procurement reports highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
- Participate in field visits to monitor project implementation, supplier performance, and compliance with contracts
- Inspect supplied materials and verify compliance with agreed specifications and contractual conditions

Qualifications
•Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
•A minimum of two years of experience in humanitarian volunteering, particularly in logistics and procurement.
•Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc)
•Good in English
