Responsibilities
. Inspect civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works against approved drawings and technical specifications, with reference to TIA-942 and applicable ASHRAE and NFPA codes.
. Perform independent setting out and check survey work covering levels, dimensions, alignments, and as-built verification using total station and auto level instruments.
. Check material and mill test certificates against approved submittals before items are incorporated into the works.
. Witness and sign off on theon the Inspection and Test Plan hold and witness points across all civil, mechanical, and electrical activities.
. Verify earthing and grounding works, including earth-continuity and earth-resistance testing, against the approved design.
. Witness and record assigned commissioning and acceptance tests within the Level 1 to Level 5 sequence, with Level 5 being the Integrated Systems Test.
. Raise Non-Conformance Reports when work fails specification, and track each one through to verified close-out.
. Maintain the punch list for assigned areas and re-inspect rectified items before sign-off.
. Verify that site work follows approved safety rules, permit-to-work, and lock-out or tag-out procedures when witnessing electrical work.
. Organise quality records and provide accurate daily and weekly inspection input to the manager.
. Coordinate with contractor and supervision teams to schedule inspections and prevent work from being covered up before witnesses.

Qualifications
. Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent trade certification with strong site experience.
. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in site QA/QC, field inspection, or survey on building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, or infrastructure projects. Data center or mission-critical exposure is an advantage.
. Recognised construction safety certification required or strongly preferred, such as NEBOSH International General Certificate, IOSH, OSHA 30, or equivalent.
. Working knowledge of survey instruments such as total station and auto level, with the ability to read construction and MEP drawings.
. Familiarity with quality documentation and acceptance codes such as ACI 318, BS EN, and NFPA. Awareness of TIA-942 and Uptime Institute Tier requirements (Tier III or Tier IV per site) is an advantage.
. Good written and spoken English for inspection records and reporting. Arabic is required.
. Familiarity with the Syrian construction market and post-conflict or frontier environments is strongly preferred.
. Syrian nationals are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Syria.
. Willing to travel and work on a rotational basis across multiple data center sites, including shift coverage where required.
