Job Purpose:

The Psychosocial Support (PSS) worker contributes to the effective implementation of Child Protection (CP) and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) interventions. The position is responsible for case management, delivery of psychosocial support activities, facilitation of safe spaces, and protection monitoring.
The role requires close coordination with program teams and adherence to humanitarian principles, including confidentiality, do-no-harm, and child safeguarding standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

·Manage MHPSS / CP cases (assessment, planning, referral, follow-up)
·Provide individual and group psychosocial support (non-specialized MHPSS)
·Identify and refer vulnerable or high-risk cases
·Facilitate activities in Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) and community-based structures
·Conduct protection monitoring and reporting (KOBO/data tools)
·Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality
·Support volunteers and community engagement activities

Qualifications
·Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, or related field.
·2–3 years’ experience in child protection (case management, MHPSS).
·Fluent in Arabic; English is an asset.
·Good IT and reporting skills.
