Responsibilities
Main duties and tasks:
Planning and Coordination:
• Develop weekly/monthly detailed workplans in coordination with the Technical Coordinator.
• Support in designing and updating the work plan of the project(s).
• Coordinate with partners, local authorities, stakeholders, and communities on the implementation of day-to-day activities in the different sectors, and maintain professional representation of the organization.
• Support upon request or assignment in representing WWGVC in external meetings and share MoMs as necessary.
Implementation and Monitoring:
• Assist in the conduction of technical/needs assessments, and participate in the identification and elaboration of new project proposals in coordination with the respective stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of tender documentation, designs and BoQs, and attend tender evaluation committees upon request.
• Supervise the works of the Consultants/Contractors/implementing partners on hard and soft component activities within the project(s). This includes but is not limited to: collection and analysis of contractors’/suppliers’ reports, quality control, verification of executed quantities, obtaining MoVs, and ensure compliance with the signed contract and WWGVC policies.
• Prepare upon the request of the project manager/technical coordinator the necessary documents for the procurement of materials, logistics, and/or works for different project(s) activities.
• Conduct regular field monitoring visits and remote follow up on day-to-day project activities, ensuring timely and quality implementation in line with WWGVC and donor’s standards.
• Conduct different engagement activities with local authorities, community representatives, stakeholders, and beneficiaries in line with the project(s) activities.
• Prepare all the implementation documents necessary and agreed upon documents for all the activities including planning, monitoring, reporting documents and preparing letters and emails to address the project manager and stakeholders in coordination with the project manager/technical coordinator.
• Support upon request or assignment in the collection and reporting of the necessary data for the submission of regular reports and sector reports and follow-up on the filling of 5W whether internally or externally.
• Participate upon request from the project manager/technical coordinator in bid evaluation for the supply and/or conduction of works necessary for the completion of the project(s) activities.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor as required and related to the nature of work.

Qualifications
• BA Degree in Engineering (Civil, Architecture Engineering)
• At least 3 years experience in similar position;
• At least 1-year of experience in planning and conducting Hygiene Promotion activities is a plus
• Experience with a contractor is a plus;
• Experience with an NGO in rehabilitation works and Hygiene is a plus;
• Certification in HP ToT is an asset.
• Good command of English in writing and speaking;
• At least 3 years experience in similar position;
