Responsibilities
• Assist in the management of passenger flow and crowd control during emergency evacuations to ensure safe egress from terminal areas.
• Monitor and identify potential fire hazards related to terminal retail, food & beverage outlets, and storage areas.
• Perform regular checks on fire doors, emergency exits, and escape route signage to ensure they remain unobstructed and operational.
• Provide initial first aid or basic life support to passengers or staff during medical emergencies within the terminal prior to the arrival of medical teams.
• Respond to fire, smoke, evacuation, and emergency incidents within terminal buildings in accordance with approved procedures.
• Operate firefighting equipment, fire suppression systems, and emergency response tools safely and effectively.
• Participate in emergency drills, evacuation exercises, and preparedness activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of firefighting equipment and terminal fire safety systems.
• Maintain readiness of personal protective equipment (PPE) and assigned gear.
• Follow instructions from the Terminal Firefighting Supervisor during incidents and drills.
• Support coordination with ARFF, AOCC, terminal operations, and external emergency services when required.
• Report incidents, equipment faults, or safety concerns accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support post-incident recovery, clean-up, and documentation activities.
• Maintain discipline, safety compliance, and operational readiness at all times.
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors within the scope of terminal firefighting operations.

Qualifications
• Diploma or Vocational Education in Firefighting, Emergency Response, Safety, or a related field.
• Firefighting or emergency response certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in firefighting, emergency response, or facility firefighting operations.
• Familiarity with building fire alarm panels, sprinkler systems, and smoke management systems.
• Knowledge of terminal layout, including restricted areas, utility shut-off points, and assembly areas.
• Knowledge of firefighting techniques and emergency response within building environments.
• Ability to operate firefighting equipment and emergency systems.
• Understanding of coordination during emergency situations.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform under emergency conditions.
• Firefighting or emergency response certifications are an advantage.
