Responsibilities
- Identify, design, implement and monitor joint projects with Water & Habitat, local livelihoods initiatives and microeconomic initiatives.
- Implement and monitor the various components of the EcoSec program according to the plan set by the Team Leader and EcoSec.
- Contribute to analysing the security, socioeconomic, cultural, and political environment as it relates to the ICRC.
- Collects data using data-collection tools and devices.
- Enters data into and maintains the survey database and the EcoSec Programme Management Tool (EPMT).
- Analyses strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis) to identify possible response options.
- Contributes to identifying response options based on an analysis of EcoSec core components (food consumption/production, living conditions, income support and capacity-building).
- Maintain good relations with relevant interlocutors.
- Follow up the logistical and administrative tasks of their projects and work.

Qualifications
- University degree in a related field preferably in business administration, Economy, Agronomy or Veterinary Science.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar field of activity.
- Good command of English.
- Good analysis and reporting skills.

The ICRC works closely with and supports the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) to meet food, water, and health needs of people affected by the fighting in both emergencies and to help them start rebuilding their lives.
