The PSS Worker is part of the Protection Programme at Tdh-L and operates under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Officer. The role receives ongoing technical guidance, coaching, and support from both the Field MHPSS Officer and the Field Child Protection (CP) Officer.
The PSS Worker plays a key role in the effective implementation of Child Protection and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) activities. This includes managing protection and MHPSS caseloads, facilitating psychosocial support sessions, overseeing Child Friendly Space (CFS) activities, and conducting protection monitoring activities to ensure vulnerable individuals receive appropriate support and referrals.
MHPSS Case Management:

•Manage an active caseload, including intake, assessments, and individualized case plans for children and caregivers.
•Coordinate referrals, maintain updated service mappings, follow up on cases, and accompany beneficiaries when necessary.

•Deliver structured psychosocial support sessions for children and caregivers with moderate mental health needs.
Protection Monitoring

Qualifications
•University degree in Psychology (mandatory).
•2 years of relevant experience.
•Demonstrated experience in working with children, adolescents and adult.
•Experience in working in the humanitarian sector and/or with vulnerable groups is an advantage.
•Demonstrated experience in facilitating activities for children, adolescents and adults of different age groups (psychosocial, and group-based interventions).
•Experience n MHPSS counselling and case management is a strong advantage.
•Good command of English is an added advantage.
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
•2 years of relevant experience.
