Responsibilities
KEY Responsibilities:
•Provide overall field leadership and oversight for the project, ensuring effective implementation across all targeted locations in line with approved work plans, timelines, quality standards, and project targets.
•Supervise and provide technical support to the Education Officer and operational support to the Education Officer and Protection Officer, ensuring effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and quality of project activities.
•Coordinate closely with support departments, including HR, MEAL, Logistics, Finance, and Media, to ensure timely operational support, compliance with organizational procedures, and smooth project implementation.
•Monitor project progress, identify implementation challenges and risks, and proactively develop solutions to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of activities.
•Coordinate closely with the Education and Protection Coordinators to support project planning, implementation, monitoring, and adaptive management in line with the project's logical framework and Theory of Change.
•Prepare, review, and submit accurate weekly and monthly progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations to project management.
•Contribute to project planning and procurement processes by providing technical input on required materials, supplies, and operational needs based on field assessments and implementation experience.
•Promote staff wellbeing by maintaining regular communication with team members, identifying psychosocial or operational concerns, escalating issues when required, and supporting a positive and productive working environment.
•Serve as the primary field focal point for coordination and communication with local authorities, education directorates, community stakeholders, and partners teams, representing the organization professionally and maintaining strong working relationships.
•Represent the organization in coordination meetings, technical working groups, and external engagements relevant to project implementation.
•Attend technical training, workshops, and capacity-building sessions as required, and ensure knowledge and learning are effectively transferred to other staff to strengthen implementation quality and consistency.
•Perform any other project-related duties assigned by the line manager to support the successful delivery of the program.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
•(Essential)bachelor's degree in education, Social Sciences, Project Management, Humanitarian Studies, or another relevant field or
•(Desirable) Master's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Project Management, Humanitarian Studies, or another relevant field.
General Work Experience:
•Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in humanitarian or development programs, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
•Demonstrated experience in managing education projects, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
•Experience working with local authorities, Education Directorates, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms.
•Previous experience working on programs similar in scope, particularly Education, Protection, or integrated humanitarian projects.
•Knowledge of Education in Emergencies (EiE) and/or Child Protection programming.
Skills:
•Languages:
-Excellent in English (Writing-Reading-Speaking).
-Excellent in Arabic (Writing-Reading-Speaking).
•Computing:
- advanced level in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook, teams, etc,).
•Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•Strong report writing, documentation.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Commitment to safeguarding, accountability, diversity, equity, and inclusion and humanitarian principles.
