Responsibilities
- Review and train the project management team on financial documentation requirements per SSEF's Financial Guidelines.
- Support preparation of the Monthly Expenditure Report and Transaction List prior to donor submission.
- Advise the team on procurement policies and mechanisms to strengthen compliance in project purchasing activities.
- Accompany the team in preparing quarterly Interim Reports (financial and narrative components), including the BMZ Zwischennachweis due by 30 April 2027.
- Provide technical advice on budget issues, financial variances, and identification of potential operational risks.
- Deliver on-the-job coaching and training — within a combined ceiling of 20 hours/month — to the project management team (Project Manager, Finance Officer, MEAL Officer, and Project Coordinator).

Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience working with INGOs/NGOs.
- At least 3 years of experience with BMZ-funded or comparable German donor-funded projects.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Prior experience coaching/mentoring project teams within NGOs.

Salary and Benefits
Competitive consultancy fee, commensurate with experience, paid monthly for the duration of the engagement.
