Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ARD’s communication, media, and content activities in line with the organization’s goals, fundraising priorities, and brand identity.
• Manage ARD’s website and social media platforms, including content planning, publishing, engagement, paid campaigns, and performance monitoring in Arabic and English.
• Photograph and film ARD’s projects, humanitarian activities, events, field operations, beneficiaries, and success stories, ensuring high-quality visual documentation.
• Edit and produce professional videos including interviews, beneficiary stories, documentaries, social media reels, promotional and fundraising videos, and donor-related content.
• Handle the full media production process from concept development, shooting, lighting and sound, to video editing, color correction, subtitles, and final delivery.
• Produce and edit high-quality photographs for social media, website, reports, fundraising campaigns, newsletters, and other communication materials.
• Develop creative visual stories and content that increase ARD’s visibility, strengthen its public image, and support fundraising and awareness campaigns.
• Coordinate with program, field, fundraising, and communication teams to identify media needs and ensure appropriate coverage of activities.
• Ensure all photos, videos, and communication materials comply with ARD’s brand identity, donor requirements, humanitarian principles, beneficiary dignity, and consent standards.
• Manage and maintain an organized archive of photographs, videos, and other media assets, ensuring timely uploading and delivery of required materials.
• Support the organization and media coverage of events, campaigns, press conferences, meetings, and public relations activities.



• Monitor social media and digital performance and provide regular reports and recommendations to improve communication and engagement.
• Coordinate with photographers, volunteers, interns, and other media contributors when required.
• Travel to project locations across Lebanon and demonstrate readiness to work during emergencies and humanitarian responses, including occasional international travel when required.
• Perform other communication, photography, videography, editing, and media-related duties as assigned by the line manager.


Qualifications
4. Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Media, Journalism, Digital Media, Marketing, Multimedia, Photography, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in communications, content creation, photography, videography, and video editing.
• Strong photography and videography skills, including experience with professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Good video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro..
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; graphic design skills are an advantage.
• Strong storytelling, content creation, and social media skills.
• Excellent Arabic and English communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel across Lebanon and work in the field, including during emergencies when required.
• Understanding humanitarian ethics, informed consent, safeguarding, privacy, and dignified storytelling are an advantage.
• A portfolio of photography, videography, video editing, or communication work is required.
