Strategic Planning:

• Develop a strategic plan for the Organisation that clearly identifies a vision for the longterm sustainable growth for the country;
• Work with all stakeholders to gain consensus for the business plan. From this plan
identify and communicate yearly initiatives, action plans, measurements,
responsibilities and budgets;
• Scan the market continuously and scout for business development opportunities.
Expand the business on a continuous basis.

2. Business processes:
• Establish and implement processes, procedures and programs for superior profits,
business management and inventory control;
• Review processes at regular interval to monitor their effectiveness and make
modifications. Communicate findings and changes to all stakeholders. Drive
integration with the head office to ensure business unit alignment.

3. Brand/Retail Management:
• Develop in depth understanding of the Organisation’s brand value in the country to
ensure a high degree of recall. Ensure consistency of brand and marketing messages;
• Establish and manage strategic relationships with top Cruise port & Government officers, Brand owners, strategic vendors, JV partners etc. and identify ways to leverage the relationships for business growth.
4. Financial:
• Responsible for P&L of the operations;
• Direct the team activities to reach revenues, margins, and other goals. Maintain the
standards of fiscal responsibility in expenses;
• Periodically analyse various risks involved in each business and ensure adequate
control mechanisms are in place for minimizing/ managing risks.
5. People Management:
• Develop an effective organization structure. Bring on-board talent required to support business initiatives;
• Lead staff development processes focusing on leadership development, role
definitions, success planning and learning;
• Create an environment where employees are encouraged to perform at their
potential and where diversity is respected and ethical behaviour is encouraged
6. Compliance:
• Conduct and oversee internal reviews, audits periodically to ensure that compliance
procedures are followed;
• Ensure and verify that all regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated;
• Inform & educate employees on matters associated with statutory regulations and best practices;
• Assess compliance risk & ensure adequate control mechanisms are in place for minimizing/ managing risks.

- Achievement of budgeted revenue
- Achievement of absolute Gross margin
- Manage Stock Shrinkage within limit
- Achievement of Retail KPIs like SPP, ATV, penetration rate etc.
- Compliance with all relevant legislations
