PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Data Officer keeps the project’s beneficiary, referral and outcome records complete, clean and on time. Every payment milestone depends on these records, so accuracy matters as much as speed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage project records in the ILO-approved digital registration and pathway-management tool for about 3,200 beneficiaries, including user access for project staff; no parallel database is used without the ILO’s written approval.
- Run weekly checks for completeness, duplicates, and consistency across registration, profiling, attendance, referral, and outcome records, and reconcile them with paper attendance sheets.
- Prepare the monthly beneficiary database for the ILO (name, ID number, gender, age, status, date and location) by the 10th of each month.
- Record co-facilitator participation, at least three per session, and prepare facilitation and transport support payment sheets for HAND Finance.
- Maintain the employer and vacancy database with the Employer Liaison and Referral Officer, and the referral and employment outcome records with the MEAL Officer.
- Produce routine summaries for weekly and monthly reviews and support MEAL and ILO verification exercises.
- Apply data protection rules: role-based access, secure storage on project laptops and tablets, and confidential handling of sensitive information.

Qualifications
- University degree in information technology, statistics, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in data management for NGO, UN, or government programs.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data validation).
- Experience with KoBo, ODK, or similar digital data collection tools.
- Fluent in Arabic and working English.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
- Experience with case management or beneficiary databases.
- Basic Power BI or dashboard skills.

Women are strongly encouraged to apply.
