Responsibilities
Work Assignment:
• Plan, Prepare and implement recreational and informal education activities in coordination with PSS counselor/ Technical Supervisor and SARC/community volunteers according to weekly plan.
• Prepare and submit reports of program activities to Admin / Supervisor as per IMC reporting format.
• Prepare and Provide documented plan for activities as per IMC formats.
• Facilitate and participate in activities preparation including gathering the groups of IDPs, arrangement for the space of the activities, activity settles, and implementing the activities with participation and support of Support Teacher / PSS/SARC Volunteer.
• Provide needed support as per trainer specialization to SARC volunteers, community member and community volunteer in planning, preparing and implementing activities after coordination with PSS counselor / Technical Supervisor.
• Share and report to PSS counselor / Case manager any observation, identified cases or needs.
• Participate in assessing the need of beneficiaries and addressing it to IMC team as per IMC procedure.
• Address requests and activities needs to IMC Admin/ Supervisor as per IMC procedures on weekly and monthly basis, and participate in preparing for the 3 months activities items.
• Respect and commit to IMC/SARC principles and code of conduct.

Empowerment Program:
• Making sure that organizing and implementing the activity is done by the community volunteers.
• Coordinating with Admin/ supervisor of the team with regard to the logistics needs of the empowerment activities.
• Coordinating with the psychologist with regard to the training needs for those who are empowered.
• Participating in the awareness campaigns and holding related activities.
• Providing the necessary support for all the community initiatives and projects.
• Preparing an action plan for the community voluntary team.
• Preparing a simple action plan for each community workshop.
• Documenting the implementation mechanism followed in the activities, workshops, trainings'. etc.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Arabic literature or Faculty of Education

Specific Vacancy Requirements
- Previous experience in working with psycho-social and/or other social programs with international or locals NGOs.
- Must show flexibility and be able to adapt to a stressed working environment if required.
- Willingness to work with a diverse team of expatriates and nationals.
Able to work in team environment, and to work with children and adults from different backgrounds.
