1. Act as a focal point with IT services provider for systems related issues and inquiries.
2. Oversee the planning and implementation of systems hardware and software following industry trends and best practices.
3. Define performance goals, priorities, objectives and measures for IT services provider system administration team and set relevant KPIs accordingly.
4. Analyze metrics from IT services provider and other resources to evaluate the performance of IT services provider system administration team and recommend improvements.
5. Ensure exceptional performance for the high-availability systems by contributing to the monitoring and reporting process.
6. Manage, control and follow up all system administration service requests sent to IT services provider and ensure SLA compliance.
7. Prepare and submit accurate reports to HOS on a monthly basis and when required.
8. Plan, prioritize and ensure the completion of all tasks related to system administration projects .
9. Oversee the integration of information system with other systems for the purpose of maximizing the efficiency of the data flow and decreasing redundancy of data collection activity in coordination with external IT services providers.
10. Issue systems related material requests and Bill of Quantity 'BoQ' in coordination with IT service provider and participate in hardware/software inspection .
11. Coordinate with IT asset controller to ensure the update and maintenance of systems inventory.
12. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
13. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and team work.
14. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.

1. Education: Bachelor degree in Computer/Engineering/IT
2. Experience: 1 year of Operating Systems-Windows Administration Experience is plus.
3. Professional Certification: Operating Systems Professional Certificates (Windows) is a must. Operating Systems Professional Certificates (UNIX) / Networking Professional Certificates / ITIL is a plus
