Responsibilities
Summary of Job
Under the direct supervision of the CFC the Admin/HR Assistant is responsible for providing support in processing payments, in the completion of financial and projects documents in updating the bookkeeping, in maintaining proper HR documentation, to prepare pay rolls and pays lips and process the payment of taxes and social insurance according to the Syrian Law and procedure.

Main administrative tasks
In charge of daily bookkeeping and cash counts
Handling all payments to suppliers and contractors as requested and authorized by management staff and immediate supervisor, both by cash and by bank transfers
Contributing to the planning of the expenses in coordination with the immediate supervisor, the logistician, the technical staff and the project managers
Monitoring all cash flow movements
Being aware of mission operating budget and financial conditions and constraints
Preparation of cash count.
Monitoring the level of expenses in relation to available budgets
Daily administrative office tasks
Ensuring good filing of archive
Support in the coordination and communication channel with the different stakeholders in the review process of any document and keep record and track of all the communications

Main HR tasks

Assist in the shortlisting process of applications including communication with the hiring manager;
Under the supervision of the CFC responsible to collect monthly attendance sheets to update the attendance sheet into a routine, monthly payroll –
Process the monthly payroll of all INTERSOS Employees; including prepare pay slips, collect signatures and submitted to CFC.
On monthly basis Support in processing the social security documentation, and provide the needed calculation for the amounts deducted from the salaries to be paid to the social security establishment as part of the employees contribution. He/she shall also provide the needed calculation for the percentage to be paid by INTERSOS and support in preparing the payment to the social security establishment on monthly basis
Support in the calculation related to the deductions from the employees salaries related to the income tax payment and preparing the income tax payment every 6 months as per the applicable laws.
Support in tracking annual / sick leave days according to INTERSOS policy. Ensuring all leave and sick days are recorded properly;
Responsible for ensuring the personal HR files are up to date and complete as per INTERSOS policy;
Ensure all Job Descriptions are followed INTERSOS template and filed to individual dossier;
Disseminate of information to National staff as per the instructions of HoM or CFC
Responsible for keeping the confidentiality of all information received during the performance of his/her tasks.




Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Degree in Business Administration or related field
Person specifications:
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in similar positions;
- Must be computer literate
- knowledge understanding of confidentiality and data protection
- Must have a sound work ethic, excellent communication skills and work well both independently or as members of a team.
- Have good spoken and written communication skills;
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic language skills;
- Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in dealing with matters of significance for the Organization

Salary and Benefits

Contract duration: 12 months with 3 months probational period.
