1. Ensure that all mediated files are successfully received by rating engine and within their sequence number without any missing files.
2. Track all files missing or delayed from mediation.
3. Ensure that all the received files are successfully processed and rated as per relevant KPIs.
4. Check suspended calls, rerate them, and resolve suspension reasons on a daily basis.
5. Perform the necessary tests and configuration, related to new rate plans and new MSCs and report results to direct line of authority.
6. Perform the necessary setup on the production environment of new rate plans for new services, short-codes, products and installation of new MSCs files.
7. Administer, monitor, and handle all billing operation tasks (Rating, invoicing, bill production and financial postings) by:
7.1 Ensuring that rental process runs correctly and on time on each bill cycle.
7.2 Ensuring that all subscribers are currently billed and all invoices are generated on time.
7.3 Ensuring that all invoices are printed by the beginning of each bill cycle and to be ready on time after the invoicing process is finished.
8. Ensure that prepaid services renewal runs correctly and on time on a daily basis.
9. Prepare billing systems for closing the monthly bill cycles and open new bill cycle and monitor these processes.
10. Develop SQL queries for billing requested reports and update and fix data held on the billing system.
11. Develop UNIX scripts to automate and facilitate billing operations.
12. Solve customers' complaints received by Customer Service effectively and timely as per related policies and procedures
13. Provide Customer Service with complete and accurate feedback about the actions applied to solve the complaints.
14. Keep records about the corrective and preventive actions applied to solve customers’ complaints
15. Ensure the accuracy of customers’ invoices (Airtime, services) by running pre-checks and post-checks at every bill cycle run by:
15.1 Checking and fixing any discrepancies noticed in the renewed service at first day of each bill cycle.
15.2 Checking and fixing any discrepancies noticed before the closure of each bill cycle
16. Ensure billing daily and frequent operations completion on schedule.
17. Ensure the security of billing information (customer information, calls).
18. Generate SIM OSY input files upon procurement requests.
19. Load SIM OSY output files into the billing system and ensure that new GSM numbers ranges are created and available.
20. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
21. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and team work.
22. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.

1. Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Computer/Engineering/IT.
2. Experience: 2 years of Billing Experience in Telecom are required
