Scope/Objective
The Administrative and Finance Assistant provides assistance in monitoring of financial management, as well as the project, travel, human resources and general administrative support as well as some data and research assistance.
He Provide logistical, administrative and financial support and follow-up for substantive meetings organized by the Data for Development, Innovation the project.
Functions / Key Results Expected
1. Follow-up and update project files, including project progress reports, workplans and budgets in compliance with guidelines
2. Create vouchers and payments for project
3. Follow-up on the submission of financial reports
4. Accurate and timely bookkeeping
5. Effective office administration/logistics
6. Accurate and timely operation of payroll
7. Own the operation of the monthly payroll processes to ensure staff are paid accurately and on time.
8. Prepares and submits timely and reliable financial documents and financial
9. Carry out any other financial assignments as requested by the Project Director.
10. Checks and ensures that all procurement process and expenditures of the project in accordance with our procedure. This includes ensuring receipts to be obtained for all payment.
11. Assist in budget preparation and management activities, as requested by the project manager.

Recruitment Qualifications
Education: Completion of Intermediate level (preferred Bachelor’s Degree) in Business
Management, Accounting or relevant fields.
Experience:
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of the issues in the relevant area
- Proven ability to draft, edit and produce written proposals and results-focussed reports
- Proven experience working with Government, civil society, international organizations and donors
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
Language Requirements:
Good English drafting skills
Arabic and English mandatory.
