Scope/Objective
Under the overall direction of the Project Manager and the supervision of the EDL Technical officer, the Project Accountant is responsible for the implementation and financial issues of project, as stipulated in the programme support document, and as assigned to him/her by the his/her Supervisor
Functions / Key Results Expected
1. Organize offers and micro-purchases and follow-up on finalizing procurement process on time and arrange for delivery of goods and services according to activities agenda.
2. Manage day-to-day tasks.
3. Preparing monthly salary list in collaboration with project manager.
4. Collect and keep full track record of invoices and receipts and submit to UNDP field office.
5. Ensure logistical arrangement readiness for all project activities.
6. Keep track record of project activities including attendance, complains, problem encountered, results and achievements Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output.
7. Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.
8. Provide feedback to the Project Manager on project activities.
9. Process payments, file and archive all relevant documents (vouchers, invoices).
10. Develop budget status reports, monthly and quarterly financial progress reports.
11. Maintain inventory of records of project deliverables, documents, files, equipment and materials.
12. Full collaboration with project manager and UNDP field office.
Other duties as they arise.

Education
Bachelor degree
Experience
Two years of related experience
Experience in community-based assistance and in participatory community actions is an asset.
Previous experience in working with institutions of the civil society and local public organizations, especially with UNDP is an asset. Computer literacy is a prerequisite
