Responsibilities
The main duty of the Monitoring & Evaluation/Compliance Officer will be to support the
successful implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting for POM projects in
line with the donor requirements and POM internal policies. S/he will support in all data
collection, analysis, and learning activities to help measure and ensure accountability
and efficiency for all projects, both new and existing. The incumbent will engage with
projects’ teams to assess conditions, support capacity building on M&E, and facilitate
the collection of quality data. The M&E/Compliance Officer will support in regular
reporting, analysis of data to better inform reporting, and in new program/grants
development. The M&E Compliance Officer will be supported in monitoring activities by
Caseworkers, but will be ultimately responsible for verifying, collecting, and analyzing
the information collected. The M&E/Compliance Officer will work very closely with the
all employees including its management team and projects staff.

Qualifications
University degree in information management, human rights law, social work, project
management, social science, development, or a related field;
 2 to 3 years of expérience in Monitoring and Evaluation;
 Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English;
 Demonstrated ability to train and build capacity of others;
 Strong interpersonal skills;
 Excellent skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis;
 Computer literacy;
 Ability to relate to colleagues in different services and disciplines, to explore
weaknesses in systems and to motivate all to work to implement adopted measures;
 Extensive experience in developing log frames and performance indicators;
 Ability to work under tight deadlines and with minimal support;
 Ability to identify key strategic issues, opportunities and risks and to adjust flexibly
to program needs and strategic priorities;
 Ability to uphold the values of fairness, equality and respect of human dignity.
