Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
Support daily logistics operations under the supervision of the Logistics Officer.
Assist in vehicle inspection, maintenance coordination, and ensure compliance with NPA standards.
Support warehouse and stock management, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Maintain asset and inventory registers and report discrepancies promptly.
Organize, file, and maintain logistics documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Assist in the collection, transport, and delivery of program materials.
Support procurement activities, including collecting quotations, issuing purchase orders, and supplier follow-up.
Ensure that all received goods are properly documented (GRNs, invoices, receipts, etc.).
Maintain fuel tracking systems, vehicle logbooks, and support monthly reporting.
Assist in organizing transportation, venues, and other logistical arrangements.
Support the maintenance of offices, assets, and accommodation facilities.
Follow up on expat accommodation needs (generator servicing, fuel, water supply, general upkeep).
Ensure compliance with NPA Logistics, Procurement, Safety, and Security policies.
Perform data entry and documentation in procurement and logistics systems as required.
Support supplier assessments, bid analyses, and market surveys.
Assist in ensuring compliance with internal procedures and donor regulations.
Assist with warehouse operations when required, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Support stock checks and basic inventory control activities on an as-needed basis.
Assist in maintaining organization and cleanliness of storage areas when required.
Specific duties
Maintain up-to-date inventory records of field equipment and departmental assets.
Support tracking vehicle usage, service schedules, and fuel consumption.
Assist in coordinating basic repairs and maintenance under supervision.
Contribute monthly logistics reporting (stock movement, fleet, fuel, assets).
Monitor utilities and maintenance needs for expat accommodation (electricity, water, HVAC, etc.).
Travel within Syria or internationally when required for operational support.
Work outside normal office hours, when necessary, in line with NPA policy.
Perform any other related duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications
Education
University degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience.
Good language requirement for both English and Arabic – speaking, reading, and writing
Good general computer skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field, preferably in the humanitarian sector, or equivalent.
Familiarity with warehouses or asset management systems is an advantage.
Previous experience with fleet management is an advantage
