Responsibilities
- Collect data using handheld tablets and digital data collection platforms (e.g., KoBoToolbox), while ensuring data quality, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection standards.
- Carry out household surveys for baseline, endline, and other programme-related assessments.
- Review, extract, and submit completed surveys on a daily basis according to established timelines and procedures.
- Conduct Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM) and Distribution Monitoring (DM) activities, ensuring that protection principles are mainstreamed throughout the assessment and distribution processes.
- Support Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) by serving as a moderator and/or note-taker, as required.
- Serve as a Help Desk focal point, collecting feedback and complaints from affected populations regarding ZOA's interventions while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and impartiality.
- Support the registration, documentation, and follow-up of feedback and complaints in coordination with line supervisors and relevant departments.
- Collect beneficiary stories and testimonies, ensuring informed written consent is obtained and that the privacy, dignity, and rights of affected populations are fully respected.
- Take photographs of MEAL-related activities, in line with ZOA's visibility and communications guidelines, to support donor reporting and organizational visibility efforts.
- Ensure compliance with ZOA policies, MEAL standards, safeguarding principles, and humanitarian accountability commitments during all field activities.

Qualifications
Knowledge Experience:
- Baccalaureate degree
- Good spoken and written command of English
- Excellent spoken and written command of Arabic
- Strong Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint -hellip;)
- Experience with digital- regular data collection tools: KOBO experience is a plus
- Familiarity with humanitarian principles, such as humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence,
- Working experience of one year in the humanitarian field
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures.
- Being aware of cultural norms, values, and sensitivities
- Being open to feedback, learning from experiences, and embracing new ideas or perspectives.
